The NYS Urban Council is the only statewide organization that offers this unique hands-on approach that emphasizes downtown revitalization through job creation, business development and community investment.

New York Urban Council
The New York State Urban Council has been a statewide representative group for many many years, But like everything else things change. So we are evolving and changing our focus and our name to:
New York Innovative Communities Network
INCOM will seek to convene regional professionals around common issues faced in our communities and business districts working together to identify solutions. Our common goal is to engage and support business districts across New York State.
We are a peer based resource. We track and engage innovative programs and innovative communities. Our goal is to be a go-to source for New York business district needs.
We invite Downtown and Main Street proffesionals, their respective Board members, Businesses, Property Owners and the like to come be a part of an ongoing learning labratory.
Our Programs are fast paced and packed full of peer to peer exchanges, lively speakers, peer profesional social opportunties and best pratice examples and even what isnt working.
